BOKA OMW

Born in Abidjan in 1980, Boka grew up in Bordeaux with a passion for music which he shared with his brothers. His first steps Boka will realize them in Rap with the group Esprit Corrosif from 1995 to 2004. Via rap Boka will get closer to soul music and his desire to sing will strengthen. He began to write in several styles such as R’nB, Reggae and the discovery of artists like Tété or Jack Johnson will finally convince him, his path will be guitar-voice and more pop music. He refined his voice and joined forces with guitarist Maxime Caillaud in the summer of 2011 since the two friends criss-crossed the bars of Bordeaux between covers and original songs… In 2016 he released an album mixing reggae, hip-hop and funk entitled "from Bordeaux to the world ". On April 25, 2020, he released a pop-rock album called Blacknroll.
